한부남 대표는 1973년 3월 3일 한국에서 미국으로 이주하여 워싱턴주 Lakewood에 정착했습니다. 한부남 대표는 Lakeview 를 따라 400제곱피트의 집에 가족을 정착시키며 집 차고에서 두부 제조 회사를 시작으로 하였습니다. 한부남대표는 나중에 사우스 타코마 웨이(South Tacoma Way)를 따라 한인들을 위한 식료품점을 시작하여 1990년 기존건물을 철거 후 수요에 맞춰 현재의 부한 타코마 플라자로 증축했습니다. 총 35,000제곱피트의 매장의 시작으로 현재는 수많은 한인들이 운영하는 수백 개의 비즈니스를 제공하는 Tacoma 한인타운의 심장부가 되었습니다. 한부남 대표와 그의 가족은 2000년도에 Edmonds에 또 다른 부한마켓 식료품점을 운영함으로 워싱턴주의 한인분들과 아시아음식 사랑하는 모든 분들께 한국 식료품을 제공하고 있습니다. 부한마켓은 저희 마켓을 찾아주시는 모든 고객과 비즈니스 파트너에 대한 헌신이 우리의 첫 번째이자 유일한 목표로 삼고있습니다.
Boo Han immigrated to America from South Korea and settled in Lakewood on March 3, 1973. He settled his family into a 400 sq ft home along Lakeview and started a tofu manufacturing company in a nearby garage he built.
He later started a grocery store for Asia products along South Tacoma Way.
It was expanded in 1990 to keep up with demand after the demolition below. That 35,000 sq ft store is now the heart of the International District that offers several hundred businesses operated by people of Asian heritage.
Han and his family operated a grocery store in Edmonds. We believe that our dedication to our customers and our business partners is our first and only goal.
